How many cameras, how much access to the stage for equipment/ cameras do you have?

Sorry - one camera - ME! don't know access to stage . . might not be an issue . . .. but I'll take that under advisement from the organisers . .. . I'll need lots of cut-aways .. . this 2 hour GIG will only be used amongst a short "BIG" movie commissioned for me to do for Xmas 04 . . . .

I have help in post edits on some HipHop shots, not my work. Have notice lighting and shadows can be a serious problem with dark skin individuals. Proper stage makeup can fix some of it, but new performers lack the knowledge. If you have contact with the performers, check out the acts, explain the importance of staging the shots, where to look, good camera angle. with one camera, crowd pans match number of face shots, with majority being full body shots(framed for movement on stage)..

also, bring a digital camera for addition shots, extra tripot, while video is recording a known time shot, use the digital to shoot additional shots for greater detail, better close ups....

Rappers are notorious hams and will look at the camera lens a lot and make numerous hand gestures towards it. Put a filter on it as it will get splashed with sweat and various beverages.

I ALWAYS wear protection! . .. ;-)

. .now I knew there was a reason to purchase a digital still camera. Could this be it?
