OT: dual layer burners??

I have been thinking about going to dual layer DVD burning when the new drives come out. Will -R DVD handle dual layer or will I have to migrate to +R.
Don't know much about this yet. DVDlab Pro will support DVD-9 when it comes out, so Oscar says.

The Pioneer A07 drives were demonstrated as being able to burn the dual layer DVD-R's with a simple firmware upgrade. It isn't known the public will be able to do that or if they need to buy a new burner, but the Dual layer DVD-r's are just around the corner.
