I called Discmakers just a few minutes ago, and they told me they now are selling blank Taio Yuden 8x DVD-R blanks with the new glossy, instant-dry, smudgeproof white surface.

Just after I ordered 100 regular TY blanks. Damn.

I think this will be one of those "paradigm shift" moments. Now a burned disk will look just like the pro disks, and with no label issues.

They're $1 each in quantities of 100.
