I recently read some great books on film/video editing, and I thought I would share them with you all, and maybe pick up a few suggestions from all of you as well. here are a few books I highly think any editor should read (be it film or video):

In The Blink of An Eye by Walter Murch

On Film Editing by Edward Dmytryk

First Cut: Conversations with Film Editors by Gabriella Oldham

Theres many more, but these three are great reads. Although we use Vegas to edit video, film editing techniques are easily applied to video editing. Go out and get these books, there not that expensive either! =)

Any one else have some great books to suggest? I've been on a reading binge lately.. I keep telling myself, the more you read, the more knowledge you gain..
