OT: Epson 200 files to Bravo II?

We just bought a Bravo II Autoprinter and have a problem. We have been using an Epson 200 and have about 150 layouts which have been created to print on DVD discs. Many are for corporate jobs, and I really hate the thought of having to create them all over again, get client approval, etc. All are in Epson's .ec3 file format, which is proprietary and evidently can't be saved in a .gif, .jpg or .png format.

We can get the Epson software to run the Bravo II, but haven't been able to align the printing so that the Epson images will display properly on the Bravo II.

Anyone solved this problem for themselves? Any ideas on how to convert these files (.ec3) to a format that we can use with the Bravo II.

I had the same problem, but surely you created your images in some other program first such as photoshop, fireworks, etc.?

What I did, is after I figured out that I couldn't export them and a screen shot would degrade quality, is whenever a client asked for a reprint/burn, I would take the background image that I took or made and open it in Surething (I bought the deluxe version), then I woudl export as tif as it exports to the CD or DVD size that you have your project set up for. Now, I open it in Fireworks and and add my text, effects, etc and save it (saves as a png) and I would then import the edited picture back into Surething via the Background picture button. Now I have a png file that is my file that I can use for anything if I choose to use something other than the Bravo in the future, this image is easily changeable to tif, jpg etc.
The key I found is not to do all of them, just when they are asked for- that is when I would switch over from epson to bravo for that particular design. That way you are not doing extra work.
That is how I did it and what I am doing. I did not want to get caught up in the proprietary issues again, so I make all of mine in Fireworks and import them in.
