This is in regard of printing to tape.
If I PTT onto a dv tape in XM2 and then go from XM2 tape to A/V (for transfer to VHS) all is ok.
If I just use the XM2 as a D-A (output to TV and VHS) then on the odd occasion it seems that the fields get reversed and the picture has a slight shimmer. This effect can be corrected by doing a PTT again (about 50/50 right or wrong).
I am in PAL land, so just wonder if anyone else can demonstrate this apparent fault on their set-up?
I don't know if it is my set-up or a fault on my cam only or a design flaw in the XM2.
I will try to contact Canon if this fault can be proved.
