OT: Focus DTE Recorder question

Cliff Etzel wrote on 11/5/2009, 5:59 PM
Just received this email from Videoguys for their sale on DTE recorders - given that I currently shoot with a pair of SONY HC7's - is this a cost effective solution for going tapeless compared to other options?

Just got word I have a potential 8 week project that is going to require alot of shooting/editing and would prefer not having to log tape if at all possible - my challenge is I don't have the funds to go full tapeless acquisition (ie - a new 3 chip SD card based camera). Any other suggestions besides this option?

TIA

Hi Cliff

I just got the FSH-200. I have not tried it yet, but I read a lot about it and it sure looks great.

I will let you know when I have tested it - have been too busy lately to find time :-(

Sure looks like a good deal. Here en Denmark I had to pay almost $2K for the box and 32 GB card. Btw. The manual only mentions Sandisk III 16 and 32 GB cards as compatible, just like the ones ind the bundle.
