Rolls make a variety of little audio boxes that should fill your needs. Their PM50sOB is a very useful box. You can use it as a headphone amplifier or feed the boom mic through it so the boom op can hear what he's doing and adjust the level in his own phones without affecting the actual mic level. One of the most useful little boxes we've bought.

More Me phones do the job and won't wreck your finances if you drop them overboard or the drummer crunches them.

I use the Sony MD7506's and love 'em. Great sound, great comfort, folds up small into it's pouch, gets the job done.

Any of you guys tried out Grados for mixing? The reviews are always great, and my Sennheisers are getting really long in the tooth and need new pads at minimum.

I'm glad my wife didn't know they could be replaced for $8.00, she made new ones from scratch, much better than the original though.
That's $8.00 each, from B&H.

Rotted is the word, but they had been in use for 20 + years before they did. With my acid sweat, it's a wonder they lasted that long.

Thanks Bob, that looks like a great solution.
