Hi,

I have a Proart Asus 24somthing screen.

I went into the menu of the screen and selected "DisplayPort" option for input by mistake...I got a message "DisplayPort No Signal" and then the screen shuts off.
I turn it back on again pressing the Menu button, but it does nothing!!..I get the same message.
I cannot get the menu system up again so I can change the input settings to dvi..

Any help??? Where is the display port anyways and what Can i Plug?

ps.s I tried plugging/unplugging the dvi port, plugging a vga cable, shut off...nothing.

Help!!

If you cannot get the On Screen Display menu back up again with the Menu button (and select your desired input with it , line 5 Input Select, I believe), then the monitor is faulty.

I believe the Display Port is the HMDI input. Do you not have a manual something like this http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LCD%20Monitors/PA248Q/PA248_English.pdf ?

thanks Greg!!
yes my monitor is caput..finished...I was able to get the right input by pressing a little button in front of the monitor (they are 7 of them), but the monitor has to heat up before I get an image....about 20 minutes, then I get my screen back.

Might get another asus proart, it has served me well all these years.

Beaut looking specs - I have an IPS screen on a laptop which is great for working at less-than-ideal angles.
