Not actually recommending, but I did a double take on this "double sight" when I saw this ah... doube monitor on a single stand. That's right TWO 15 inch monitors as a single unit giving you a 30 inch wide "double" monitor.

Can't beat the price (around $700 for a 30 in wide LCD screen.... ah screens, but the review isn't that glowing.

2048x768 resolution on a 24"x9" viewing area isn't that great either. I can buy a pair of 18" LCD monitors for not a whole lot more than that price and get 2560x1024 resolution. I can also get a pair of 15" separate LCD monitors for about 2/3 of the combined unit's price.

I had seen a three screen unit like this last year (or was it the year before?) at Linux Expo here in "The City". It was kind of interesting but, yeah, I want at least 1024 vertical.

These are good for special applications. Stock brokerages probably like them. For most of us, two separate screens are more flexible.

There was a recent article at Toms Hardware on dual screen gaming. These might also be atractive to gamer's with too much money.
