It's a 360-degree view of a room painted on a ball. What can't you figure out about it?

Though I'm a bit confused why whoever posted it there calls it an optical illusion.

what can't you figure out? how it was done? in 3d it would be relatively easy.

to me it looks like a panaromic shot painted on to a sphere. Could very well of been flattened when painted.

It is an optical illusion because while the ball turns left to right, after a while some people get the feeling that the viewer is actually turning right to left turning around in the room.

Some of the objects appear to move in perspective, almost like 3D. Keep your eye on the staircase. As the sphere revolves the angle of the staircase seems to change. The same applies to the doorway and easy chairs.

ahhh. ok. That's from the curve of the sphere, but it is pretty nifty.
