Mike, I think that tube map has grown since I last used it...
Here's the Overground Map in full size for the aficionados.
If we hadn't thrown all that tea overboard, the freeway map may indeed have looked like that.
It's interesting to see how different types of maps are good at showing different things.
The tube type map is great for showing how locations are connected, as it puts locations first. Traditional road maps instead put the roads first.
The tube map has had its deterrents (well, mild criticism) from some who say it can be improved, like video editor and more Alex Gollner with this proposal.
(He also has truly brilliant free plug-ins for those who can use them.)
Peter! You really SHOULD be aware, that using the "Mornington Crescent" Protocol, as an option, via any routs going to or from Piccadilly Circus would ALSO require that you go via the Bank. In which case, you could possibly, at a pinch use rule 79(c)(iv), which clearly states that: "When returning to, or travelling from, any none yellow coloured route via the Northern Line (black) through Belsize Park, could only be possibly exercised, due to rail repairs, then the Mornington Crescent option HAS to be played." - clear as day, really.
Grazie
(PS, this tantalizing morsel, that Peter "flung" my way just now, was courtesy of the imagination of those zany chappies from the ancient show: "I'm sorry I haven't a clue! 'The Antidote to panel games' "
And to further Grazie's reply, there are variants to the game which, I believe, make the game either tricker or easier.
I'm Sorry I Haven't A clue returns either this week or next, with Jack Dee as the host (Humphrey Littleton died earlier this year). I wonder what became of Little Humph?
Looking forward to more correspondence from Mrs Trellis, and can't wait to hear what Samantha is doing.
After a long well needed rest, she will again, take-up her usual position, sitting on the Chairman's right-hand, side. As you know, having done it for the "Gentlemen", for most Monday nights, and for years and years, it is very widely known that Samantha takes great pleasure, and not a little pride, in her scoring abilities.
It's still on at 5.30 every Tuesday morning here in Oz - I never miss it. I expect we'll eventually get the new series, but Humph will take some replacing. I particularly loved his potted local history of wherever they happen to be broadcasting each week.
