If it's the same thing I saw, yes it's awesome.
I am a pilot and in 25 years this is the first time I have seen the NTSB administrative judge rule against the FAA. It just never happens.

Pirker 1, FAA 0.

This just waives the fine imposed by the FAA, but it probably gives his lawyer more ammunition in his suit against the FAA.

This one has me conflicted.

I want to be able to fly them, but at the same time, if one of them happens to be snooping on me, I want to be able to shoot it down, but maybe I'm a little too old school.

Yep there's lots of uses for drones. I also predict a new 'sport' - knocking them out of the sky.

I fly quadcopters with Gopro's and 65Deg lens replacement so I dont need to correct fishey in post.

I call a gun a gun, Military call guns weapons
We use multi rotors or quad copters
The military use drones...

The word Drone should be left to the millatary so the general public do not get confused over the difference between and RC hobby or business and a military strike!

If we plan to use multirotors for our business and or pleasure it may help to differentiate between the two.

Here in Australia a quadcoptor was used to drop drugs into a prison (allegedly) tat the weekend.

It was a reverse/dummy run - next week the first drone escape ....... (the drugs were for the prison video team)

Seems that the drop was unsuccessful. The controller team got themselves noticed by flying close to the remand centre and got arrested for drug possession. Any savvy pilot would have traversed the prison at height and dropped the package during the pass. These drones aren't invisible or inaudible.

Ah, yet more proof the 'criminal intelligence' is a myth. Not only were they caught, they were in the prison car-park! Dumb & Dumber.

I wonder how many drones they destroyed to get this footage? btw, nice slomo.
