I started experiencing intermittent dropouts (not every tape) about a year ago. Now it appears it may be getting more frequent and severe. I have been using Sony DVM60PRR (Premium) tapes from day 1 with this camera. The drops are on the tape and not associated with the capture as they are visible during camera playback.

Before sending the camera for servicing I wanted to post here for suggestions. Might head cleaning help?
