Nice video. I have an iPad and a Nexus 4 Android phone, so I am firmly in both camps. From an OS point of view, I prefer the Android, but mostly because the Nexus 4 gives me a pure un-screwed up experience that people with phones locked to a carrier and stuffed with all sorts of bloat ware never get.

Where the iPad leaves the Android in the dust is with specialized music and video apps. I wish that wasn't the case, but if you are into editing music or video, you really have to use IOS, at least so far.

I can see this turning into a "best phone for editing" thread, an idea that seems to be something of an oxymoron to me.

Yeah, I'll stick with a homebuilt desktop- for as long as OEMs are willing to sell me the components!

Loved the video. I feel that this one is better than the Mac Pro parody you did because I could just listen and didn't have to pause it to read the text messages on the screen. Very well done.

You didn't make fun of the "Hello Kitty" icons! Am I the only one that thinks they look absolutely horrible? There is a fine line between "minimalist" and "stick figures" and Apple's new icons are definitely "stick figure" quality. Let's take a high quality retina display and create flat solid color icons like we did back in the 1980's? Yea, that's the ticket! lol

I hate to say it, but hardware people should not be designing software. I love Jony Ive's hardware designs but the new software graphics look childish and the "see-though depth" looks distracting to me. Transparent menus were the first thing I turned off on my Mac and Windows 7. I don't want to see through things. I just want to see what I'm supposed to be looking at.

I personally hate the look of iOS 7. If I wanted a phone that looked like Android, I would have bought an Android so your parody was dead on! (not looking forward to upgrading) :(

Nice work.

Just to clarify, there is no "bloatware" on an iPhone. Is has absolutely NOTHING from the carrier on it. It only contains Apple's iOS and nothing else regardless of carrier.

Yea, I just purchased AudioBus, Magellan, & Waldorf Nave to use with GarageBand on my iPad and it is an awesome music making machine! ;-)

I think a lot of people were hoping that Fruity Loops on Android would be a contender, but it lacks a couple of important features.

Perhaps the next version of Acid Pro will be released as an Android app to complement the Xperia line of phones and tablets- one can hope anyway.

Yes that is true. IOS is quite a bit better than the hamstrung version versions of Android that you get when purchasing a phone through a major carrier.

I like Android on my phone because it's way too small a screen to edit video or music on anyway. Tablets are another story. I like my iPad and it really isn't bad for simple video or music editing at all.
