OT: Jump Backs $24.95 / Volume!

Chanimal wrote on 8/11/2006, 8:51 PM
There is a 4 day sale where you can get 10 volumes of any JumpBack (regular or HD) for $249 (this is the price for ONE set (Over $2,000 off!). www.digitaljuice.com.

I had no intention of making an impulse buy for JumpBacks, but for $24.95 a volume! My best price for a few was $49.95, but this was too good to pass up (I got every missing JumpBack I didn't have but wanted).

Thanks for the heads up!

It is a very good deal. I've already gone to the digitaljuice website and picked-out my 10 choices. I'll be ordering this weekend.

I guess now everybodies productions will begin to look the same.

I would suggest altering them some sort of way when adding them to your production(s).
Some people use them straight out of the box... and I can usually spot the ones that do cause they look exactly like the other guy's.

At leaste with "10" volumes, there will be more selections and less chance of duplication. Now...when will they have the blowout sale for VideoTrax?

they were selling them for half off - I bought volume 2 (of the video traxx) just a few weeks ago.

Is it just me or a case of you 'get what you pay for' but the Artbeats offerings look way less twee than those from Digital Juice.
Maybe I'm biased seeing as how Artbeats are a sponsor of our Vegas party and they also have some decent specials every month.

Winrock -

In answer to "what do you use jumpbacks for?"

I love them for introducing scenes where I'll cut to the jumpback and then zoom up the incoming scene. And definitely fas a background for "Copy point" supers.
You get a really slick, professional and "upscale" look to your movie by including these elements in your show. Just use them sparingly.

Copy point supers?

Text superimposed over a back ground?
vicmilt wrote on 8/13/2006, 1:47 AM
Ouch - jargon...
yeah that's it:

"23 great reasons why"
"User approved"
"Call now - 1800-123-1234"

Stuff like that - or whatever "copy" you want to "point" to or reinforce, for instance what the Voice Over is talking about.

Farss - Artbeats has great stuff, but sometime the all mighty dollar is able to overpower the "I'll only be able to use some of these" thing. Plus I just ordered for mostly stack traxx, but I did pick up the corporate, medical, all american and Corp HD. pack because there weren't enough music ones that I would use. but for the price of one I got all 6 music bunches that I did want, and 4 graphical background images that I will have handy. I couldn't say no.

Dave,
know what you mean. I've got the Sony Vision Loops and with a little bit of fudging in Vegas I've been able to do quite a bit with them, certainly got my moneys worth out of them.
