OT: LANC zoom control problem for Z1

There is a problem with many remote zoom controls not allowing for the slowest speed zooms on the Z1 - you have to revert to the rocker control on the camera. Has anyone found a LANC product that overcomes this?

I don't think Dave is trying to be dishonest. In fact, he'll tell you that they have different suppliers for their products. They always have. Their famous "Proc Amp" was made for them by Sign Video as was their original XLR-PRO. The only reason I mentioned it is because it is unlikely that Studio 1 can make him up a "special order".

This was a general comment and not directed at Dave (unless he hadn't checked his facts, in which case it was up for his interpretation). Studio 1 make it appear that they're responsible for the manufacture of their LANCs (whether they actually put them together or not) and therefore have knowledge of design details. I wasn't saying that anyone could make up a special for the job -- I was suggesting that they be asked if it could be done. A direct way through this forest of speculation..
