Tastes may vary but gotta say that this is currently my fav that I've done to date. Pretty excited to share as I had to sit on it a couple weeks till he had his premier party which was a blast.
Very cool indeed. I had no idea that angels don't have nipples.

Ray,
I found the video very nice, but like in the other post, was distracted by the fact that it was either rotoscoped or covered in some other way. Not that I care to see her naked, but the mind found it distracting. Is that the final video or was it censored for posting?
Nope, final video. Was a choice I made early on in the concept. You may have been distracted because they weren't there, I would have been more distracted if they were =)
Also in my mind, though allowing for other interpretations, felt that this way was a hint to her being surreal or other worldly.
Wasn't rotoscoped, just small covering and blended by the FX company that built the wings.
Thanks for the honest answer. I think what distracts me is the same thing like when a facial feature is distorted or misplaced in a sci fi movie. I expect to see it, and not from a prurient view, but as an art view. Lots of nudes have been painted and photographed and do not distract from the art itself.
But I respect your decision and enjoyed the video otherwise. Nice coloring and cool concept.
No prob Dave, totally get it. And I swear it had nothing to do with the location being owned by the dancers Dad! He was totally cool the couple times I talked to him that day and though we never breached the subject you could tell he was a bit uncomfortable ... as well he should have been =)
Really like this.
Framing, he has a halo! cool.
I like the high key feel to the dancer and her space, and the fade to white ending.
They both have tattoos, its a little bit edgy, the blood works because of that i think. Gothic in white?
Good editing, like at the start then you just see a glancing shot of her entering the room, its very quick, but you know she's there. Nice.
Thanks Paul! Love that you notice a lot of the same things I did when making it, that's pretty cool if ya ask me. Loved that door shot as well for the same reason, his shot with the round mirror behind him, and with ya on the fade to white, had it as a regular fade out to black but after watching didn't feel right so changed it.
Nice eye, totally stoked you picked up on some of the nuances!
