OT: Lousiana TV legend needs short videos

Fellow Vegas editors and videographers, we could use some immediate assistance. If you're willing to help out, you could be rewarded by having the video you created broadcast on New Orleans TV!

Briefly, Cox Communications is seeking 2-minute videos to accompany the experiments conducted by America's Secret Scientist, Dr. Momus A. Morgus, on his series of televised lectures, entitled Morgus Presents. They're looking for short features on topics that are humorous, interesting or unusual. They can be scripted or spontaneous, but there should be some type of theme or short story -- it's not a 'America's Funniest Home Video' concept. Two minutes is ideal, but if your video is of exceptional entertainment quality, a longer clip could be acceptable. The topics must be in good taste and should be of interest to all age groups.

This isn't a contest, per se, but all entrants will receive a University of Morgus certificate. If your clip is used on the program, you'll receive a Morgus T-shirt. The clip judged to be the best at the end of the season will entitle the entrant who submitted it to join the Doctor in a televised experiment! You may get to go through the Instant People machine!

Please try to help -- Cox needs videos as quickly as you can get them in; the first show is September 2nd.

I hope some of you will be able to help us out with your Vegas creations. I'll be available at webmaster"AT"morgus.com, to answer any questions you might have.

Thanks for your consideration,
Chuck Brillowsky, aka cbrillow on the forum

I apologize if this appears like a spam message to you -- there's an urgent need, and I thought this might represent a good opportunity for some of you.
