I bought a 300 gig firewire drive that came with some nice backup software from Dantz. My plan is to use this drive as a nightly backup device, when I'm in deep into a long project, to back up my C system drive and V video drive. I often worry that if my C or V drive fries, that I'll have to restart from scratch.

There was a rebate at Best Buy, so it was only $230. So now, my entire system is backup, and I can do a complete restore and only have lost the work I've done since the last backup.

Call me crazy, but I like security on long projects.
