The Zombies are all around us; blocking the subway stairs while their thumbs twitch; slowly zombiewalking down the sidewalks, hands raised in supplication; zombified by their earbuds; zombiedriving (scary!!!); and entire elevators-full of once human faces are illuminated by the cold screenlight of iMachines while corporate-floors full of bent head zombies are shuffling slowly doing their macabre avoidance ritual.

What a great find, Leslie. Thanks for posting this. Metropolis is one of the really great films of the 20th Century. I saw the restored print several years, accompanied by a small orchestra playing the original music that was played when the film was first presented in theatres.
