I used to think the same thing.
Then I got a 24" Dell (1920 x 1200).
I found that I had to increase the default font size because the text was now way too small for these old tired eyes to read :-(

JJK DID use double quotes for inch not single for feet.

A 32 inch monitor would be nice.
