When visiting NAB in 2002 I stumbled upon the Fountains of Bellagio.
I was inspired to have at go at building a replica and the result can be seen at

The dusk videos were shot with an EX1 and cleaned up in Vegas 8 with Mike Crash's De-noiser on 20 before converting to HD 422 50 MXF which I then imported and converted to MPEG4 using Quicktime conversion in Final Cut.
The day videos were shot with an HC1 and processed the same without the de-noiser.
I have now figured out how to do it using Main Concept or Sony AVC in Vegas. Which is best?
It is a difficult video to compress. Is the quality as good as can be expected or would another technique improve it?
By the way what do you think of the fountain?
