OT: My video one of 3 finalist of CineVegas contes

My video, "Let's Build a Fire" was chosen as one of the finalist of CineVegas Film Festival competition. Almost 170 burnt Polaroids tell a story of starting all over again when life goes sour.

It was rough cuted and color graded in Vegas -- and this time Vegas' ability to ingest anything made the process really easy.

Yeah, she was my g at the time. But it started being rocky so i was afraid that we might break up before the video is finished -- you know in case we needed some reshoots... Personal touch though brough something to this video that wouldn't be there is i went with my original plan of using an actress i know.

Great concept.

As a sidenote, I like how the polaroids bubble as they burn... there's something cool to natural effects.

Why make the polaroids jiggle around as they’re being burned? Also, it’s a bit of a one-trick pony. In conclusion, I wish I could make a video that good. But I think Knock Knock has the edge (although you’re way ahead of the Infomercial one); and I did vote for you, so please don’t “report abuse” on me—JK! :<). Best of luck. BTW, do you get any $ for winning?
