Here's a link I got from Adobe, they've got lots of videos from NAB2008 for those who missed it; great job by Adobe on capturing all this for everyone:

There's 39 pages of 6 videos each! - the first 3 pages, about 18 videos, from NAB 2008... that Adobe has put together for everyone to watch, at no cost, and no email/optin needed. Wonderful job, Adobe!

The metadata and speech to text features are astounding. Having the NLE or Flash encoder "hear" the speech and convert it to HTML text embeds (either as actual text or as search terms) is nothing short of earth-shaking, IMO. Very creative. The metadata throughput is terrific too.

I suggested two years ago to SCS to implement this kind of speech to text in Vegas to create subtitles.
