OT: need a good cheap web host w/ email?

Someone mentioned above the free microsoft office websites. I signed up for that as well about a month ago. They give you a free domain name- not a sub and free space, but the catch is you have to use their online web builder.

Here is what I did- I signed up, got rid of everything I could on the template and made an animated gif (like when you are waiting for windows xp to load) and put "if you are not redirected in 5 seconds, please click here" and then I put a link to my actual site. It is free and I got a great domain name- for free.

checked the office live site and it says it's free while in beta stage, with option to continue on a paid basis after that.

You have to read the fine print carefully. The "BASIC" version is free, always, even after the beta.
