I'm attempting to build a comprehensive listing of the various online forums that deal with video production (pre, intra, and post) in any way, shape, or form--hobbiest, prosumer, professional.

John hit just about all of them, but there is one more that I really like. It is DV.com. There are a variety of very useful forums. I particularly like the Audio Solutions forum hosted by Jay Rose.

I check out cinematography.com occasionally. While it is geared more for film, they do have some discussions that can translate to video - ie sets, lighting, etc... The lighting discussions are good for as they coveral general lighting tips along with effect lighting ideas.
