OT: Nero to burn data DVD?

Will Nero 8 burn a data DVD from a miniDV tape? If not, what's better.

Don't need to do this often, but have immediate need now -- 4 miniDV tapes that client wants put onto DVD, data only. She wants to be able to transfer the data files to her Apple computer and "learn how to edit them."

Do it all the time. A single layer DVD holds 20 mins + a few frames of DV or HDV.
Warning, FCP will not load m2t files.
Tell the FCP person to get free converter, think it's called Streamclip.
Works quite well.
