OT: Network rendering and BartPE/WinPE

We picked up a set of rackmount computers that don't have an OS on the drives.
http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/Bart Preinstall Environment[/link] is
a method to get a canned system up and running to fix
computers without actually installing the OS. (Bootable CD)

Have anyone tried using network rendering with BartPE or WindowsPE?

I have Bart PE (the first version grant you)... but never could get the network part to work in the first place

I don't think network rendering will work on a thin client system.

I HAD FUN building a web surfing BartPE CD for the family.
I will load Linux on each for Blender rendering but was hoping
to have system for Vegas HD rendering.

Don't thin clients boot from the network only? WYSE systems?

Thanks for responding.

Well it sure is a great and worth while utility disk to have I'll tell you that much. It's saved me from disaster many times. I still use it BTW to clean out those various system folders that Xp and vista will never let me into.
