The AMD Radeon R9 Fury X is the new BIG beast. Launches on June 24 for $649.

Indeed, AMD Fury X is a beast. Pair this bad boy up with Broadwell E or Skylake E in a yrs or so. This combo make editing 4K easy.

I will bypass the X99 chipset and wait for PCIe Gen4.

Skylake E is my target of upgrade to my current system. Of course it will be some type of powerful AMD cards as well.
