A great idea, but it looks to me, like the screens are too small to provide the great picture that should be possible. I thought with the invention of Oleds, that they'd be able to come up with real looking 3-D and 180 degree or better panoramic view that would completely envelope your field of vision (if you wanted).

I would think how the original material was produced would have a great deal to do with that. You couldn't provide, for example, a 180 degree field of view if the that was not how the original footage was shot.

I'll buy one when they get to the point of looking like a 100inch 1080p display viewed at about 10 feet.

That's why I added the "if you wanted" to the end of that. Yes regular movies would look too bizarre, but specially created movies, just for that purpose, would be more like..... well, hopefully, like the Holodeck of the Starship Enterprise. You would "Be there".
