OT: Non-finalized disc

A client sent me a disc from (she says) "a digital 8 Sony handicam DCR-TRV320."
The disc has not been finalized and she has no access to the camera which recorded it. Needless to say the disc is unplayable.

Is there any practical way to recover the video on the disc?

Try ISOBuster.
If it doesn't work, try a machine with another OS.
