OT: On camera monitors for focus?

Hey all,

I ran a search and couldn't fins exactly what I'm looking for...

Wondering what you might recommend for on camera monitors that have decent resolution for focus? This is for SD 16:9 work. I have an Accurian APD-3911 auxilary monitor I've been using, but I'd like to step up.

Thanks in advance.

Check the Markertek site for Delvcam and Marshall Electronics portable LCD monitors. They have a wide selection of different sizes and prices.

I second the Marshall monitors. This really depends on whether or not you're considering the LCD an investment. If so, I'd look at something that may work with HD in the future. Ikan makes a fairly decent set of LCDs - they're cheap and you get what you pay for but for focus, they're not too shabby. If I had my druthers, I'd go with the new Nebtek HD LCDs - they also repackage Marshall monitors, but you're in the $1500 range and up.

There are some DIY'ers that have built some pretty good camera / non-camera mounted LCD's as well - dvxuser.com and hv20.com have some good information on this.
