OT: On the homestretch - thanks to many

For those who pitched in about three months ago on various aspects, I just wanted to let you know that we're finishing up soundtrack & ADR work and will be premiering our first feature on August 14th (not really a "premiere," but a private showing to cast/crew & potential money for the next one...)

You can catch some BTS photos & factoids here if you're interested.

It was a great opportunity to go to school [insert STEEP LEARNING CURVE here] and actually finish with something that we're proud of. It all started in this forum, and I'd like to thank Spot & Mannie at VASST (who let our waiter wear a VASST shirt all night long), Jay Gladwell for an invaluable DV recommendation and John Rofrano for providing us with a smoking gun...literally.

We also scored a LOT of great artists for the soundtrack, including Anevis, whose AP remix contest tune "Remember" is our title track. Anyone interested in seeing the opening credits with their song can take a look here.

This has been a long road for us, and a lot of people in this forum answering a lot of questions over the years has been a large part of it. Thanks again, all!

Kevin

Honestly folks, I didn’t even know the gun was loaded. ;-)

Let me be the first to congratulate you on doing what some of us have still only dreamed of doing. I can’t wait to see the whole thing. Thanks for letting me be a (very little) part of it.

CONGRATULATIONS KEVIN!
