I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU -
It's hard to soar with eagles when you have to work with turkeys...
but you can rise above.
We honestly all wish you the greatest success - and we are here for friendship and council..

Congrats! We know how much was riding on this. It should be a very rewarding experience for both you and your students!

Just got back from getting my TB tests. As long as I dont get a positive for TB back and I pass my background check (should be no problem, never got into trouble), I am good to go and report for work on August 2nd with school slated to start on August 9th.

I am employed at West Orange High School in Orlando and it just so happens that our school's colors are the same colors of my beloved Florida Gators.

As Jay had said, I wish to thank everyone for their support and prayers. I am living proof that the good Lord does provide and take care of us.

Vic, I may take you up on your book because I will be teaching 9th graders and we all know how they whine.

Also, as I told Jay, the other day, instead of feeling down about my life, I decided to go volunteer at a soup kitchen and was talking with the supervisor and told him video editing was a hobby of mine and he offered me some video work as soon as I get the DVC30 to replace the dead GL2. I have decided to take the money I make and donate half back into the soup kitchen and take the other half and use it for school supplies for the students that cant afford them for different schools here in the area.

God will bless and touch us all in one shape or form.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything that everyone has done. May God bless your lives the same way.

Patrick,

Great news! I'm very happy for you. Maybe you should do a short documentary of what happened to you over the past couple of weeks. :)

The Lord does work in mysterious ways. I prayed to God to find a way that I could serve him better. The next week our Pastor asked me to become a Eucharistic Minister for the church. I humbly accepted. Ask and you shall receive.

Congratulations Patrick! You done good.
