OT: Possibly looking to hire someone for 3D

At the moment I'm not going be hiring folks yet - however I'm wondering if there are folks here who are able to make a good looking "pocket watch" style (IE glass front brass/gold metal body) compass for a new client of mine - I'm not sure if anyone here has the ability to do 3D but it would just be having the camera sitting above the needle and watching it kind of wiggle around, and then stop facing stright forward, the cam would then pull away from the watch starting to face down and then I would add the words in for his product.

Thanks for any input. If it's not a ton of money - it may be something that can be hired out sooner rather than later.

You can look in the forums for 3D software. Caligari.com has
monthly winners for design contests and you might find a style
the artist uses you like. Email the artist directly. I am tied up for several months but I am sure others would be interested.

I would offer but I'm just not that good. I'm ok with the interface and the "numbers" aspect of 3d modeling but lousy with the "art"...

I might have time later in the month. (I'm moving this week.)

I am a Lightwave modeler. If you email with details of the final format that you need (animation sequence or just the obj file) I can give you a quote.
