OT. Problem with Plug and play BIOS extension driver

From this morning I have a warning on my system administration, the plug and play Bios extension is not working.
I've tried to reinstal the dirver but I have always the same ... a section on the inf is not valid or something similar.

Where can I find this driver if it exists. I've tried on microsoft's, on google, etc, but it seems not exist.

What's the problem.

The system seems work well, no problem with capture, render... , but on startup I hev always the detection of new hardware and the wizard tries to find the driver and ... the problem is there. if I cancel the instalation of the driver, the system tells me that could be som problems with my new hardware ( new??????), but no problems occur.
The only thig is I must cancel the instalation on every starup, and is hard.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Josaver.

josaver,

What are your specs? Did you add, remove, or change hardware recently? Any other system changes?

Sound like some mobo weirdness.

No changes, nothing. It appear after 3 or 4 hours from startup. I don't know how.

I've made a restore system and de detection has disapeared, but the problem with the driver is still there. It seems not afect the system, but I'm not sure.

My system is a P4 2GHz 256 RAM
Win XP home.
Lite on CD Writer
Lite on DVD ROM
Sony DRU500AX DVD burner.
ConceptronicsFirewire card
Fast Ethernet lan card.

Nothing happened from the first startup one year ago.

Thanks.
