First off, I am brand spankin new and as "green" as Kemits Rump!

I come from the music creation world and am now doing a series of video Bible Studies for our Church Bible Study group(s).

Just got Vegas 7+DVD, the Seminar series (which Im done with) and now I need to get a clue as to how to 'PREPARE" for a short 20 minute production.

I have ZERO training in this area, If this were music, i'd be nearly done - as is...im just staring at all my new toys wondering how (step-by-step) to prepare for a project and what steps are necessary to complete the project.

Media Assets:

Mostly maps, narration, pictures and some free stock footage as im on a very low....er..non-existant budget and if I spend another dime on this my wife will divorce me :^) No camera work (cuz I got no camera...yet) and I can handle the music (Sonar 6/Acid 6/Reason 3).

So...now what? How do I plan a project? I am looking for best practices for a small project such as mine.

Can somebody give me a clue, please.
