I know there are some current and former radio DJs like myself lurking in these forums, so I wanted to pass this on. Jack was an amazing talent. He still was full of fire that last time I spoke with him a few months ago.

Jack Armstrong Signs Off

R&R TODAY is saddened to report the passing of flame-throwing CHR/top 40 radio legend Jack Armstrong, who died over
the weekend at his home in High Point, N.C. He was 63. Armstrong recently retired from radio, but his résumé was as
legendary as he was: He most recently finished a three-year stint at Entercom’s WWKB/Buffalo, did 7 1/2 years in mornings
on Entercom oldies WMQX/Greensboro and previously worked for KFRC/San Francisco; KFI, KTNQ and KKHR in L.A.;
KBOS/Fresno; KDKA and WKTQ in Pittsburgh; KTLK/Denver; CHUM/Toronto; WMEX/Boston; and WIXY and WKYC in
Cleveland, among others.
