OT: Rent a Red

I recently was approached by a producer who asked if I was thinking inquiring the RED, I just chuckled and told him no... not anytime soon. Anyway does anyone know of any rental houses that are making the camera available?

A friend of mine in Missouri has an associate who is getting one. Apparently he made a lot of money the past 20 years buying "worthless" camera and projection equipment and selling the glass.

Needless to say, I am jealous.

I think the point would be to rent out besides his indy work.

yes, iin new york city at leat 2 guys i know (one of them prom a production house) have RED in their posesion.

Place two doors down the road has two for rent and more coming.
Hopefully the lens mounts on the latest batch are up to it although I have my doubts.
