OT: RIP Syd Barrett

I didn't realize until today that Syd Barrett had passed. His contribution to the world of music starting with The Piper at the Gates of Dawn will be remembered for a long time. I will miss him and his wonderful acoustic solo albums. That often strange voice of his won't be duplicated any time soon.

I didn't realize he'd passed until your post. He was a huge inspiration. Bowie did a couple of great covers of his music.
