Trying to play I get the message

This video contains content from Sony Music, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds

I live in Greece.

How much does their stupidity weight?

It's playing the theme song from "Rocky", "the eye of the tiger", so you can hum that tune in your head while you watch the video. :)

I am offended by this video.

John, why offended? mouse wins, don't like cheese, don't like exercise. ;-)

Shocking when the trap goes off but very funny and I love the wink.

Very interesting how the intro lingers on giving you a false sense of security then snap .black screen, Silence, nicely cut clip.

"... then snap .black screen, Silence, nicely cut clip."

Actually, there was no other way to cut it, based on what happened up to and after the black cut.

The "cut" was preplanned.

Last frame before "cut to black"...

First frame after "cut to black"...

Note change in angle (90 degrees) of mouse's body in relation to the trap. That change had to be covered by the cut to black, as well as the drastic change in camera angle.

That’s the point I was trying to make Jay, when giving a speech a speaker will pause for emphasis just before and/or after a word that he wants to stand out in the listeners mind to drive the point home, in this clip it’s done visually and audibly with very noticeable impact. This technique is used in the motion media all the time but it’s not as evident. I did noticed how the angles were used for maximum effect.

This is a technique that video editors can use in weddings to simple home movies to give them more emotional content.
