OT: Scottish Darth Vader wedding processional

Have you ever seen Darth Vader in a quilt with bagpipes playing at a wedding processional? If you didn't, check this out:

(Note: I had put a link tag to this, but it shows the video in a tiny window, and it's better if you copy and paste the link so you can see it in 1080p on youtube)

I shot this last weekend in Asheville, NC. It doesn't look great because it was at 6:30 PM with both interior lighting and daylight coming in through the windows, so I had to correct white balance and levels as best as I could in Vegas.

I believe you will find he is wearing a Kilt not a Quilt (but at that wedding, who knows). Actually looks like a lot more fun for everybody than the stuffy weddings !!

Bagpipes make the most annoying dissonant sound on Earth.

Funny, I never heard anybody that dislikes bagpipes. But it's a matter of taste, I guess. To me the most annoying dissonant sound on Earth is pretty much all of the current rap music. I say current because the rap oldies were not great music but still kind of fun, like "Tricky" by Run DMC and most of the rap from the 80s.

IMO bagpipes are worse than fingernails on a blackboard.

Tell that to any vet on Remembrance Day.

I recall stories that the Brits would put a piper out front of an advancing force to instill fear in their enemies. One can see why...

For the record, I like the bagpipes, both the Scot's and the Irish versions.
