This is part of one of the biggest code debacles in Microsoft's history.
The usual MS Update for .Net 1.1 and 2.0 on one of my XPSP2 machines failed repeatedly, so I had to use their manual removal tool to get rid of both, followed by a manual reinstallation.
The subsequent 2.0 security patch installed fine, while the .Net 1.1 security patch comes up wanting to install "slb45.tmp". My Trend Micro pops up asking if I want to allow this, so I do a Google search to see if this is a known file, but no results.
Anyone know if this is OK?
