Anyone ever seen a show where the widescreen keeps shifting in/out? Watching a show in PAL, a show that was originated in NTSC has lots of black and white film from the Titanic and WWI. During the old film segments, letterboxing jumps in/out of the shots, and it's pretty clear that this wasn't done as part of the post process. Makes me wonder if the b/w images might be enough to trigger auto-letterboxing from the broadcaster? Never seen this before. more intriguing than irritating.
