OT: Sky Captain and The World of Tomorrow

I just watched the Sky Captain DVD (didn't see it in the theater) and was very impressed with the film visually. Too, the "Bonus Features" are not only interesting, but informative as well.

It's well worth a look!

Agreed! It was refreshing. This film just goes to show what can be done when its creators are not tainted by the Hollywood status quo!

I was also impressed that three big-name actors would lend their talents to the project and be directed by a true first-timer!

I love this movie! An incredible story of how this got made, Kerry and his brother are brilliant. Whats amazing is the opening of the movie looks exactly - shot for shot - like the short film project he was working on at his house with off the shelf stuff.

An amazing piece of work considering it's his first real project, i'd like to have that on my demo reel.
