I wouldn't hold my breath on the integrated XLRs - even the XL doesn't have that.

The person who develops an attachment that could work as a focus ring stop will become a millionaire...

BandPro and other companies already have a follow focus for the GL/XM...It't half again the price of the camera. And doesn't work for measure/mark because of the way the electronic focus controls work in the GL/XM. But it's pretty close.

There already is a replacement for the GL1/2, XM1/2 with integral XLR's and the works -- it's called a DVX-100a! :D
