OT - so who's going to NAB

I've been in this business for over 30 years... and I never went to the NAB - generally out of town or shooting.

This year I'm not only going - I'll be teaching a couple of courses and sitting in on a panel (Field production) -

I love this site... AND a bunch of you guys :-))

so who's going to be there, besides me??

Methinks the wifey tossed it out with the junk mail. I was pre-registered in plenty of time and the NAB folks told me it was mailed on 3/20.

It's just the sheer number of people. 110,000 or so...divided between 3 buildings.

If money were not an issue, this alone would keep me away. I'm not at all keen on large crowds. <shudder>

My suggestion for the Vegas party is for those of us (like me) who use a handle other than their real name to have a name tag with that ID on it.
