OT. Something's on the move, but what?

About three weeks ago, when I opened the forum I was made to confirm my email address because - Sony said - they'b be announcing some big news during the next couple of weeks.
But until now, no big news, not even small news. No news.

Does anyone have a clue to what that stunt was about?

Had a great screening of the England tour video with the choir and parents last night. Great success. Amazing what one can do with a smallish camera with a MKE 300 on top (plus Vegas, plus Noise Reduction).
