I emailed Sony Tech Support but no answer. I am hoping someone here might could shed some light on this.

I recently purchased a Sony DRU530A DVD burner. With Nero 5.5.10, when I try to erase a +RW I get the error message "Power Calibration Error". I also notice that if I try to burn two DVDs back to back from Nero or from DVDA...I get the same error on the second DVD. The only work around I have found is to power down the computer. (Re-starting doesn't fix the problem)

Anyone know what this problem is and how to correct it?

DVD set to master on the secondary IDE
